New-look for Multi-Sensory Room

HAD’s partnership with John Lewis Welwyn continues.

The retailer has recently refurbished the Multi-Sensory Room in the Terry Stevens Centre.

The room, which one of the alternative therapies HAD offers, encourages relaxation and concentration for pre-school children with mental and physical disabilities. It boasts an array of equipment, including fibre optics, lights, projectors, coloured bubble tubes, tactile toys and music.

Neurological development and improvement for babies and small children can be achieved with as little as a half-hour monthly session.
